Chapter 1 is the opening. Every chapter after this one starts with a real comment.

What happened

David drops out of the sky onto a huge, empty grey floor. Nothing else exists yet.

He says he builds real things, fast, and proves it: a workbench snaps together part by part. Then he admits he can go much faster, and 50 tables pile up into a tower. He winks.

Then the deal: you comment what he should build, he builds it, and it stays in the world forever. Whatever happens next is on you.

What got built

A workbench in a few seconds (legs, rails, a butcher-block top and a blue vise), then 50 tables stacked into a tower about 38 m tall.
