David Can Build It

The World · 3 things so far

The blocky world map

Everything that exists in David’s world, seen from straight above, at its real spot. The world is a flat grey floor that runs 20 km in every direction. Each grid square is 2 m across. Builds never get removed, so this map only ever fills up.

  1. 1

    David's landing spot

Where David dropped out of the sky onto the empty floor. Every map of the world is measured from here.

  2. 2

    David's workbench

The first thing David ever built: pine leg frames, two stretchers, a butcher-block top and a blue front vise.

  3. 3

    The table tower

Fifty complete tables stacked legs-on-top, each one turned a little, just past the vise end of the workbench.

How tall is everything?

The same builds from the side, all to one scale. The workbench is the little block on the left. The tower is fifty tables high, so tall that the workbench almost disappears next to it.

The rest of the floor is empty

Everything so far fits in a patch about 6 m by 1 m. The floor around it goes on for 20 km. What goes there next is your call.
